This summer, we brought together an incredible team of suppliers to create an alfresco-inspired wedding shoot at The Old Mill.
With it being on one of the hottest days of the year, the sun and heat worked perfectly with our theme, giving the whole shoot a warm and relaxed feel; just like those abroad weddings!
We worked closely with The Wed Shed to style the various areas across the venue and specifically, focused on the tables outside where a riverside wedding breakfast would work beautifully for this occasion.
Evie and her team combined natural textures with those all important lemon infused colours and theme. Their details tied the whole look together and showcased just how versatile outdoor spaces can be.
We also had the pleasure of being joined by Jennie Colbourne, capturing the atmosphere. Her expertise and attention to detail helped us bring this vision to life! Making thoughtful tweaks and adjustments in order to achieve a consistently exceptional finish and end result.
Jennie's editorial take aligned perfectly with the theme and helped show exactly how magical an outdoor celebration at The Old Mill can feel.
Fabulous Cakes also created some stunning designs that were both elegant and full of character. Our brief and Vicky's expertise was met perfectly - providing even more inspiration.
To complete the atmosphere and not only focus on static shots and ideas, DJ Edd Arlott and Ivy Singing Duo performed by the river. Though absent in the static content itself, their music added that soulful, romantic backdrop just as the sun was setting. Our vision was to provide inspiration with the ambience created and the alfresco, relaxed feel that was achieved.
The result of this shoot was a collaboration that celebrated everything we love about an alfresco wedding vibe: sunshine, nature, creativity and especially those little lemons!
