Exclusive use of The Old Mill and its grounds.
Set in 22 acres of beautiful gardens, situated on the River Kennet, The Old Mill provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding day. The grounds and spaces offer privacy and are exclusively yours for the day.
A choice of: our Stable Room, perfect for intimate wedding ceremonies of up to 70 guests; Conservatory with panoramic river views seating up to 94 guests or an outdoor ceremony on the Patio for up to 94 guests.
Use of The Mill, Bar and Conservatory. Suitable for wedding breakfast's up to 94 people (evening numbers max 180 people).
Access to the venue from 9:00am finish by 12:00am (midnight).
Use of to our Bridal Dressing Room from 9:00am. Includes a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for your morning preparation.
Fully licensed and stocked bar will be available after welcome drinks until 12:00am (midnight).
An Old Mill representative with a wealth of knowledge in the industry, available to help make your big day at The Old Mill run as smoothly as possible.
Tables, chairs and glassware are included.

Our Weddings

Stable Room Weddings

The Stable Room is licensed to hold ceremonies of up to 70 people. An intimate space with a charming feel.

Conservatory Weddings

The Old Mill Conservatory offers the nearest alternative to an outside wedding with panoramic views on all sides of our river and stunning grounds without the worry of the English weather; licensed for 94 people.

Outside Weddings

Our Patio provides the perfect place for an outside ceremony. Using our furniture, this can only take place on the patio area in front of the main conservatory. Should you wish to use another area of the grounds, suitable furniture, tables and music system will need to be hired externally by the couple.

West Berkshire Registration District

By law, only the Superintendent Registrar can book your marriage ceremony, and without two registrars, your marriage cannot take place. Please contact:

Bespoke Venue Styling and Décor Hire

The Wed Shed is a bespoke wedding accessory service, based on-site at The Old Mill - founded in 2019 by Evie, the Owner and Head Stylist.

Having been born and raised at The Old Mill, 33 years go, Evie has a significant passion and love towards decorating the space. With her understanding of the venue and experience across a wide range of wedding styles, there really is no one else that knows The Old Mill better in this way. Specialising in the hire of wedding décor, they have access to a range of on-trend, high quality wedding decorations, working with you to create a perfectly co-ordinated look to suit all budgets.

With over 15 years of wedding experience and an upbringing in the industry, Evie has a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to bring to the table, whilst also using your ideas for your dream day. By hiring a wedding stylist, you will also be able to relax on the morning of your wedding knowing that a professional is on hand to expertly pull together your design and the little details for you.
